De Domtoren -  The Domtower

The Botanical Gardens of Utrecht are a wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature. With several themed gardens and a butterfly garden, this is an oasis of tranquility. Ideal for a quiet afternoon.

Terraces

Utrecht is known for its cozy terraces by the water. Especially in summer it is great to sit here. For example, try one of the terraces on Neude or Janskerkhof.

Spring, summer, autumn or winter: all year round you can take the most beautiful walks in National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Come follow one of the 56 hiking routes, ranging from 2 to 21 kilometers. There's a suitable route for every hiker, whether you're planning a day out with the family or want to conquer the Heuvelrug on your own.

Utrecht also has many different castles such as; Slot Zeist, Kasteel de Haar, Kasteel Amerongen and Slot Zuylen
